Summer Time Bending: How to Accomplish More and Have More Fun

Accomplishing even more while having fun at the same time is the ultimate summer time bending strategy. When your kids get out of school for the summer we want to enjoy the warm weather and spend time with our families. There is so much more to do – festivals, swimming, hiking, evening baseball games – and a short time until the weather turns cold again.

However, all too often, we put pressure on ourselves to get all of our projects done and stick to our routine because that’s the way it’s always been done. This can leave us feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and like we’re missing out on the joys of summer. Instead of falling into this trap, challenge yourself to do something different this summer and make the most of the season.

What is Time Bending?

One way to make the most of your summer is to use Time Bending to tackle tasks. Time Bending is a technique that allows you to accomplish more in less time. It involves aligning with your desires and speeding up time through intention. By doing this, you can free up more time and mental space for having fun and enjoying your summer.

How to use summer Time Bending techniques

To use Time Bending, start by making becoming clear on what you’re doing and why. What’s the reason behind your summer home projects and work projects? Once you’ve figure this out, write out everything you want to get done. When you start each task, keep your desire in mind and break each task down into smaller, manageable pieces. For example, instead of trying to clean out the entire garage in one day, break it down into smaller tasks like sorting through tools, organizing sports equipment, and sweeping the floor.

Next, set a timer for 25 minutes and work on one of the smaller tasks. When the timer goes off, take a five-minute break. Use this time to stretch, grab a snack, or take a quick walk outside. Then, set the timer for another 25 minutes and work on the next task. Repeat this process until you’ve completed all of your tasks for the day.

By using Time Bending, you’ll be able to accomplish more in less time, freeing up more time and mental space for having fun this summer.

Find New Adventures

Another way to make the most of your summer is to try new adventures. Instead of sticking to the same old routine, challenge yourself to try something different. This could be something as simple as trying a new restaurant or as adventurous as taking a camping trip.

To decide on new adventures for yourself and your family, start by making a list of things you’ve always wanted to try. This might include things like kayaking, hiking, or going on a day trip to a new city. Once you have your list, choose one when you’re ready to try something new.

To make trying new adventures even more fun, consider making a game out of it. Include your kids in this! They’ll love coming up with ideas for the family. Create a summer adventure bucket list and challenge yourself and your family to check off as many items as possible. You could even turn it into a friendly competition or reward yourself for completing certain tasks.

Make It A Challenge

Finally, challenge yourself to have more fun this summer. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and forget to enjoy the season. Make it a goal to do something fun every day, whether it’s taking a walk in the park, trying a new ice cream flavor, or having a picnic with friends.

To challenge yourself to have more fun, start by making a list of things that make you love to do. This might include things like spending time with loved ones, trying new foods, or exploring new places. Once you have your list, make it a priority to do at least one thing on the list every day.

Don’t push yourself too hard or try to do too much in one day. Remember, summer is a time to slow down and enjoy the little things.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed, take a step back and reassess your priorities. Are there tasks that can wait until after the summer? Can you delegate some tasks to others? Don’t be afraid to ask for help or take a break when you need it.
